The Spiritual Purpose of Yoga

Through self-inquiry (svadhyaya), meditation, and presence, yoga becomes a way to connect with the deeper currents of life. It teaches us to observe without judgment, to befriend stillness, and to access a wisdom that lives beyond intellect — within the heart.

Yoga, in its purest essence, is a practice of remembering — remembering our true nature beyond thoughts, roles, and conditioning. It’s a system designed to awaken clarity and dissolve illusion. The asanas may prepare the body, but the real work happens in the silence between movements, the space between breaths.
