The Experience

Treat yourself to one week of invigorating, rejuvenating, and transformative journey to strengthen your body, open your heart, and clear your mind. 

To strengthen your body, you will be practicing an energizing yoga routine each morning aimed at grounding you, revitalizing your organs, building core strength while improving your body coordination, flexibility, as well as a sense of balance.

To open your heart, you will be engaging in an evening meditation and/or simple breathing exercises with a goal to clean your lungs, calm down your nervous system, and release stress in order to create a space for connection and openness.

To clear your mind, not only will you improve your concentration and focus through breathing exercises while finding inner balance through meditation, but you will also have a chance to participate in optional after-lunch discussions on a topic about self-transformation in accordance with Yoga Philosophy supplemented by the latest findings in psychology and neuroscience.

In addition, you will benefit from being close to nature, to the sea, and to like-minded individuals who share your interests and values.

DAILY ROUTINES

We will start our day at 7AM with a tea and coffee, before our practice at 8. After the practice we will have a breakfast after which we alternate between free time or  group activities and trips.

We want you to feel as if you’re on holiday with the healing practice.

As you will soon discover, Brač Island is one of the biggest and richest island offering excellent biking rails, hiking nature, local agriculture with organic produce and gastronomy, beautiful beaches to sunbath and the turquoise Adriatic sea to dive into.

We have created a programme that combines group activities with free time to explore the island or just sunbath and restore.

Supetar is located in the northern part of the island of Brač and is connected to Split by ferry, so the island can be easily reached by car or bus.

Experience rejuvenation in a historic Dalmatian villa immersed in luscious greenery, hidden in the cove with pebble beach and turquoise sea.

MEET YOUR TEACHER

Anastasia Shevchenko, is the founder of the Berlin  Yoga Conference, founder of Inner Core Yoga, and a yogi of almost 20 years.

Anastasia was born in Ukraine, grew up in Canada, and since 2012 she has lived with her family in Germany. She started practising Hatha yoga at the age of 15 back in 2003 after being diagnosed with scoliosis. With almost 20 years of practice, Anastasia experienced first-hand the healing, empowering, transformative, and life-changing effects of yoga & mindfulness.

Anastasia Shevchenko is the founder of the Berlin Yoga Conference, Inner Core yogi of almost 20 years.

Anastasia was born in Ukraine, grew up in Canada, and since 2012 she has lived with her family in Germany. She started practising Hatha yoga at the age of 15 back in 2003 after being diagnosed with scoliosis. With almost 20 years of practice, Anastasia experienced first-hand the healing, empowering, transformative, and life-changing effects of yoga & mindfulness.

Shortly after moving to Germany in 2013, Anastasia completed a 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training, followed by an Ashtanga Yoga Teacher’s Intensive in 2014 and an Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training in 2017. Since 2020, Anastasia quit Ashtanga yoga and developed her own style called Inner Core Yoga.

Aside from Yoga & Mindfulness, Anastasia’s favourite topics of research are connected to Quantum Mechanics, Neuroscience, Psychology, Western Philosophy, Buddhism, and Nutrition.

BERLIN YOGA CONFERENCE

Anastasia founded Berlin Yoga Conference in 2017. inspired by her love of teaching yoga in Berlin and living there. If you observed Berlin in the 20th century, you could see the fantastic turnaround in becoming so tolerant and able to host all kinds of different people. It's impressive if you know the past, where it comes from, and the incredible journey that shows that transformation is possible. So is the transformation of an individual is possible. If you see Berlin as a person on a yoga journey, you see a person who starts out from the pain and suffering, humiliation, confusion, the person who needs to process things to live a better life. You start from a place of lack of something that you have been aware of, and you feel like you need to refill yourself and heal yourself and go through some kind of process to live a better life. When you start your yoga journey, there are many things you need to face and at first, there are the most basic physical limitation and traumas.
First, you need to face physical problems and physical trauma or pain. Then you go into your psyche and mind and heal on an emotional level. You want to change or influence your mental patterns to create better habits and find new ways to approach life more positively. If you approach yoga to heal yourself and become more healthy, you will find out how to do that. If you want to balance your life and create more awareness, you will find ways to work on that aspect. If you have spiritual longing you will find out that each person path is unique, you need to find your way to see what it is that you need to work on. Everyone's past is unique, so you need to find out what you need to work on. This is what Berlin managed to do in the last 50 years; that's why I'm so proud of Berlin and to live here.
